  1. Hi Shane I see you are entering the minefield of e- bikes!. I am a 64 year old overweight lady from the Peak district!! I have owned a Giant twist e bike for about 2 years, on the flat and slight hills it was fine, but uphill you have to pedal really fast to get any help, I have since been ill and had chemo so I have changed bikes. I am now the proud owner of a Juicy dutch style e bike and cannot fault it, I rode up hills in Buxton to try it out and bought one. It has never disappointed me in any way. Bob who owns the company couldn't be more helpfull and will answer any question you can put to him. My comments are not technical but simply from experience and I hope they have been some help to you. Nanny Ogg
  2. Sorry I forgot about a pic, will put one onFriday evening . Nanny Ogg
  3. Hi I have a 2012 Giant twist bike for sale. The bike has been regularly serviced, comes with battery charger, two batteries, one has only been charged a dozen times. I bought another battery so I could go further on the bike as I live in the peak district so the temptation to go just round the next corner is always there!. I am selling the bike as I have bought a bike to give me more help up the hills, getting old comes to us all eventually! I would like to raise about £600 for the bike , that seems the price for comparable ones I have seen . Thankyou Nanny Ogg:cool::D:D
  4. Hi sorry I didnt reply to your message but I have actually been to Buxton today and been up and down hills on one of your fabulous bikes. I have not been on a bike since last october since having 3 operations and 6 sessions of chemo, but your bike came up trumps!!!! I have ordered one today and cant wait for your call to say it's ready to collect, thankyou so much, Nanny ogg
  5. Hi thanks for replying, I have a budget of about £1200 , don't know whether that is a reasonable ammount' could spend a bit more, the bike I need will have a step thru frame , I am about five ft 9 in tall, quite heavy at the moment! Where I live in Derbyshire there are hills to get up before you hit the trails and canals paths so my problem is not being able to pedal fast enough for the pedal assist to help me as the chemo has affected my heart . I love cycling and need some power to get up the hills. you may notice I do waffle on a bit ha ha but thanks for taking the time to help much appreciated.
  6. Hi I own a giant twist pedelec bike but have been ill and now this bike is not enough for the hills of Derbyshire, does anyone have any views on claud butler glide 2 power assist bike , or any other power assist bikes that would get me up the hills. Before I was ill I used to cycle about 50 miles a week and loved it, need to get back to it after chemo treatment but with help! would love some impartial advice please. Thanks Nanny Ogg
