Thanks again, to all for the info, i understand more about the Shengyi motor, and for the OP above for his 12000 mile report, great stuff, I did find a video on Shengyi, by an American / Canadian, on a sponsored tour of the factory, the testing looks like they are really trying to push them motors to their limit. The comparison you gave was perfect for me, two different motors being fed by the same 17A controller. I do understand the torque figures are only relevant to the input, to the motor, i wanted a comparison of the two models of bike, in this instance, but i now understand that the motor can be pushed harder with more current, but not for me, i dont understand enough about electric motors to play that game. I'm a engine person, and electric motors are a bit strange to me, with their input / output figures and how its converted into motion.

That's great , thanks for the info. This might sound silly, but, does the size/torque of the motor, reduce the power consumption from the battery if its smaller / less torque? In other words does its battery last longer.

I agree, its a near perfect commuter, i only noticed the size of the motor from the pictures, and became curious, then i read the specs, and noticed the name Shengyi. I'm wondering how much torque difference there is, as there are no figures i can find for Shengyi. Im liking this, it could be a winner for a longer range commute / tour, and the Matt paint looks reallly well.

Ive noticed the new CAMINO has a new type of motor, Its a Shengyi ? I will assume its similar to the Bafang swx02, as it looks smaller in the pictures. Apart from cost/size, whats the main mechanical difference, between the two? Rio vs Camino. There is not a lot of info on the Shengyi motors, they don't seem to have much presence outside of China. Are they similar to Bafang in build quality and performance? Sorry for all the questions, i just picked up on the change of brand, and im thinking, its mainly a cost issue. I would be interested to hear from on any one with working knowledge of Shengyi motors in use.

I assume it has Cassette gears on the rear, it should help to give plenty of gearing choices. That rear suspension looks very elaborate, with all them joints,( i counted 5 points) i hope it stands up to water and winter, it could start to clatter as the "bushes" or whatever, begin to wear. All that i said above, however. i really like the design overall, and its really modern, which in comparison to my Big Bear, when viewed side by side, the big bear looks like something built from the Lada factory of the 80's Soviet era, although they (lada) were a tough old car. I apologise to any Lada enthusiasts, im not trying to put them down, im just comparing it to the simple and basic ruggedness of the design.

Thanks, i have the Big Bear, so no rear disk. Im wondering more about the rear frame Dropouts, if they are all the same size, as i dont really know if wheel spindle/ axles/ skewers are all common diameter's . I am also buying this one as its Black rimed, so it looks similar to the front rim. Most Woosh bikes are fitted with Power circle wheels that i cant find anywhere,other than aliexpress.

Following on from my recent post on Freewheels, i have taken the good advise to get a rear wheel that i can use Cassette's on, for my Woosh Big bear. Will this Wheel fit my Big Bear frame. Click Here It has a Quick release Skewer, does that makes it Narrower? Woosh will not have a Sirocco Rear wheel until the end of September, and would cost £25, so i found this for only a few pounds more. Many thanks.

I work in transport as a driver, and i deal with 2 of the large courier companys on a daily basis. The van drivers are on a bonus system, delivery targets to get the parcels delivered, they need to work quickly, and if you live in a rural area, with houses sharing the same lane etc, the driver will not risk getting the van damaged or stuck, trying to find the right house, he will just try the first house, then mark it down as "cant find", and get on with the next parcel. Most Sort centres use the conveyor system, and many of the staff using the conveyor are casual and agency, keeping the regular more experienced staff to do the postcode sorting, so training is minimal, i often see hundreds of small light parcels crushed, because of staff setting heavy items on top of them, and things soaked because of items like flowers or wine set on top, then falling over later. The industry is price driven, and works best in urban areas, but the smaller company's struggle in more rural locations, this is where Parcelforce really come into play, using the Royal Mails huge transport and depot infrastructure. In all fairness all the company's do try, but the volume of scale, and managers who are pushing the staff harder / faster, for more efficiency, and reducing costs, don't help. Ps, It does get a bit worse at Christmas, as the few staff (with even more agency) are exhausted and tired, causing more mistakes and damage.

I would like to add that i have purchased two Woosh bikes, and had both delivered "Offshore" to Ireland perfectly well. I to, found dealing with Hatti, and some of Tech staff via E mail and by phone, very easy, well informed, and helpful. I must say without reservation, that i have recommended Woosh to friends and family that have asked about the bikes. In simple terms, i got exactly what we wanted / needed, at a price that i felt was right for the product.

I can confirm it is the Freewheel. I can get the Dnp for £22 from china, i can also get a sunrace 13t, but some have said its only similar in quality to the Dnp, and only a 7% change in gearing. I can also get a Shimano HG37, 13- 28T, from Germany, for £15,and i reading the reviews on Amazon.com, the tz21 shimano is better, so confused again, LOL. I am willing to try the DNP, for £22, what harm could i do?

I am just about to order a DNP 11 28t for my Big Bear, and i have bought the Park Freewheel removal tool. Are there any other parts i would need, like spacers, shims etc ? Is it a like for like fit, no shifting issues or spacing issues between the cogs etc, as i will be removing a Shimano 14 28t, to use the DNP. I have done lots of searches, and DNP is not always that well liked, so i thought better to ask someone, or are there any good reasons why not to buy a DNP 11 28. I did read or poor quality control, and a debate on 11 tooth cogs causing premature chain wear, but im still willing to consider one, unless someone here would like to share any bad experiences.

My dealer said the same about nose weight, as im probably about 9 kg's over, but since im not "pulling" with it, it will be fine. Im sure many caravan owners have bigger problems, not just the nose weight, but overloading with car and/or van.

I think you might need the J King meter, the one above is the SW Meter, there are Two versions. Try this one below. Click Here My J king instructions states- (Translation a bit ropey) In the Power On State, hold MODE and the display start to work for the controller power supply. In the Power On State, hold MODE or lay aside (the sate is no speed and no setting) for five minutes, to cut off the e-bike power supply. In the Power Off state, the display and the controller don’t use the battery power supply. So the power consumption is ZERO.

If you get your Towbar, i can recommend this 2 bike Thule g921, £255 from Retto, that includes delivery to UK. Click here It has a 46kg limit, i can take 2 Woosh bikes (46 / 47kg) with battery's removed, and it weighs about 13kgs on its own. I means i can have a nose weight of 59/60 kg but im reliably informed that my 50kg limit (nose weight) on my i20 is really only for towing, and the bikes should be ok despite the extra 9kg.

Thank you both for all your info. d8veh, thanks for those links, i assume the wheel will fit in the frame or would i need spacers or stretch the frame to accommodate the wheel and cassette, there must be some difference in the width? As im not to ambitious yet, i really do like idea suggested by Trex "replacing the 14-34T 7-speed freewheel with 11-32T 7-speed DNP is the quickest (10 minutes top), simplest and cheapest" Just for the record, my Big bear is fitted with a 14-28, not 34 as advertised, however i find the gears 1 and 2 almost redundant anyway, as i can easily take of in 3rd.

Thank you trex, for explaining that for me, i was getting a little confused. If i can ask about the Hollowtech cranksets, they are all triple chainrings , what do i do with to 2 extra chainrings? I think i need to get over to youtube, and learn a bit more about cycle mechanics, as don't really understand a lot about bottom brackets and cranksets etc. I got this reply from Woosh, "The bottom bracket is cartridge with square spindle. If you want to change to Hollotech or Isis, you may need to change the pedelec sensor (£10)" Also thanks to Hatti, i may also get a 52t in October, if i still feel the same about the 44t. It appears I still need to learn more, i thought i knew a bit of bicycle mechanics, but there are far more options than i could imagine. Thank you all for kind help, and i now feel a bit more "enlightened".

Just to Clarify for myself, what size (BSD) of Chainring fits the Big Bear, as if i wanted to buy a standard replacement one I just like to know the actual size of the Chainring in terms of the 5 bolts. Or do i have to buy it with the crankset attached.

Thanks d8veh, i like Shimano M590 Hollowtech idea. I have no idea how to build a wheel. but like everything, i can always learn. Can i ask, why the Shimano M590 Hollowtech, is better? The Chainring i have now, has no branding on it, unlike the rest of the parts on the bike, and given i cant find what size it is, would converting to the Shimano make it easier to replace the chainring.

Thanks for the advise, that sounds like a good idea. i didn't realise that other brands of freewheel would fit. Just out of interest, does anyone how will i find out what my Chainring is, apart from taking it to shop, Ive tried measuring the BCD, and got 49 mm between the centre's. Woosh have told me " You can install any chainset and gearset you like. They are Shimano standard" i dont understand what "standard" is. as i would just like to know if i have a very unusual size. thanks again.
