  1. In reply to Geebee not many people are into ebikes hence not many will recognise it . Just wanted a bike that hid the fact that I had a 500wt motor in the Hub with no battery in sight.
  2. Well I tried the Haibike and various Bosch drives and none of them had the gearing where I wasn't peddling like mad to keep up with the motor. Tried the BH and decided the more gears I had the faster I went and the slower the pedals went round. Also using the gears the less battery I used. No brainer really .
  3. Don't need to worry on my BH Nitro Cross 2015 model easy 30mph plus 21 plus gears goes like sh...t off a shovel.
  4. Just come back from Vegas where there was a lot of talk on the ST2 with many ST1's on the roads , and yes I was very tempted to get one. However as there are no dealers in the Uk and it being a very expensive bike decided against it. I have now purchased a 2015 BH nitro cross 500wt motor 48 volt battery picking up next couple of days from local BH dealer £2666 . Looks similar to the Stromer hidden battery etc but a lot less expensive with a number of dealers in uk.
  5. I cant believe all this thread about whether a bike is capable of 17 mph or 28 mph. What about all these lycra clad cyclists on road bikes who regularly pass me doing at least 25-30 mph on the straight or down hill. I guess the police in the picture are not interested in the capable speed of the bike just whether they are safe or not, brakes, lights, tyres etc. Thankfully my BH bike which is capable of at least 28mph looks like a normal road bike ,no exposed battery or mid drive motor. :-)
  6. Purchased my nitro cross yesterday comes 2 weeks last one til may next year uk dealer
  7. Hi Peter Which country were you in to test ride this bike ? They are quoting May delivery in Uk.!
  8. I am getting the Nitro cross in the new year. £2600 bargain. Not sure if it comes with throttle or not? Promise I wont ride it on the road.:-)
  9. missed out BH off the last post of 2015 bikes
  10. Checked the price of replacement battery 36v 18am £500 compared to £750 of a kalkhoff. I had a look at the Potanium site didn't mention Kranium as a licensee ? Still waiting for the 2015 to appear which is roughly the same price as the Kranium only a 12amp battery though.
  11. I did notice, that but if JLP had any problems they would drop them like hot bricks. However with the amount of members on this forum I can only surmise that either nobody has one, or there has been no problems. A dealer in Great Portland Street has offered me a test ride so I think its worth a try especially as it has a 36v 18am battery hidden in the frame ,great piece of design !
  12. Has anyone any experience of this bike or manufacture? Won awards extensively sold through John Lewis and a few specialist bike shops. Never heard of them until yesterday, seems to have a good spec with hidden battery.
  13. Has anyone had any experience of this bike ? Its now being sold through All John Lewis stores and won awards , I know other bike specialist shops sell them but up until yesterday I had never heard of the make!
