1. Hi Arnie, The top speed setting can be changed in the settings menu (accessed by holding down the up & down buttons on the power pack). Once inside the settings menu, do the following: - Press the centre button once to select the wheel size setting - Use the directional buttons to select between the lower (15mph) and higher (20mph) setting on the right-hand column of lights - Press and hold the centre button to confirm the setting and exit the settings. A full guide to the power pack settings can be found here: https://swytchbike.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360011971578-ECO-PRO-Settings-for-Powerpack-

9. I emailed them with a simple question and after four weeks.... still no reply. They don’t seem keen on advertising a telephone number or an address to make it easy to get in touch. As far as I’m concerned, after sales service is the number one thing I look for and having seen the last two postings, I don’t think I’ll bother. It’s such a shame as it looks to be a very neat system. Hey BigG, I am sorry to read that we did not respond to your enquiry. If you still require assistance please do not hesitate to get in touch via our online form at swytchbike.com or via email at support@swytchbike.com where we would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. If you would like to try out a Swytch bike and you're London based we would like to offer you a complimentary trial with Fat Llama. If we can assist in any other way, please do not hesitate to get in touch, many thanks, Swytch Bike.
10. Hi David - I bought a swytch kit and had exactly the same experience and have been trying without any success to engage with the team at Swytch to get my bike working since it broke down shortly after being installed with the same symptoms as yours in November 2018. Matt Good Morning Matt R, I couldn't find any history of communication without searching with your last name. I am just following up to see if we have managed to resolve the faults you were experiencing with your Brompton kit? If not please kindly email support@swytchbike.com as we would like the opportunity to rectify the lack of assistance and support. We look forward to hearing from you soon, Swytch Bike.
11. BEWARE BEWARE !! I have fitted the 50 mile kit to my Brompton, and for 20 miles all was well ...... but now i have a dreadful issue with the front hub motor , it grates/screeches and creates resistance and then powers off the battery, and u find yourself on a considerably heavier Brompton than u are used to , with a massivley unreliable piece of kit - i have contacted Swytch today , other users have had same issue and no fix/reply/resolution as yet :-(( Hey David Coffey, I am just following up on your message here, it appears that we did not come to a resolution in December, which I sincerely apologise for. Please do let us know if you are still experiencing the same issues with your Brompton Kit by emailing support@swytchbike.com where we are on hand to help with any technical problems. We look forward to hearing from you soon, Swytch Bike.
12. Hi all - thanks for your support and interest in the Swytch conversion kit (which as you on here know is the result of years of Panda Bike's 5 years experience in the eBike industry, and a desire to make conversion kits easier and simpler to fit, as well as more affordable) The project is bang on track in all ways that really matter (motors, batteries, key components etc.) however we have experienced delays as a result of the complexity of preparing 1,500 orders all at once, for 1,500 different customers that all want different specifications. Rest assured the product is on the way, and compared with other crowd-funding projects in the past such as MATE bike, SONDORS and URBANEXT we are leaps and bounds ahead in terms of delivery timing. You will be waiting a matter of a few months extra as opposed to years Moreover, we have made significant improvements to the product, and upgrades to specifications for no extra cost (e.g. upgrading to branded LG cells). Our priority is making sure the first 1,500 kits on the market are top quality - we are sure that a few months delay will quickly be forgotten when you realise what a brilliant deal you have gotten as we already have huge interest internationally in our system, selling with an RRP of £550 (even higher than originally advertised) If you want to keep up to date with progress of production please check here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/swytch-convert-any-bike-into-an-ebike/x/17692689#/updates/all
13. Hi! Sorry to hear about your problem with the battery - we've been responding to emails pretty quickly but with some delays this January due to the influx of messages after the Christmas break now everyone is back I'm surprised to hear you say the battery was not like in the advert? It may be that the battery casing was ever so slightly different to the photo but the size function and internals of the battery will be the same Please contact the sales inbox sales@pandaebikes.com and we will bring your query up to the top of our attention, we may need to ask you to return the battery for testing so we can repair or replace it Thanks!
14. PS - as per the email from Oliver just now, the support procedure we sent you to fill out is still only partially completed and key sections like the LCD settings are blank - for us to help you efficiently you really need to complete the support procedure fully thanks!
15. Hi Jonathan, don't worry someone is looking into your issue we are just extremely busy this week since finishing the launch of the new Swytch kit. If any replacement parts are required we will be happy to provide these free of charge you won't need to purchase replacements Thanks for your patience! Maria
16. Hi, yes we are including a Brompton wheel option in this price. April delivery is almost certain as we have all our suppliers liined up ready to go (remember Swytch is a spin-off of Panda eBikes so unlike normal crowd-funders we have a supply network already). Let us know any other questions you have!
17. The Sywtch eBike kit is close to hitting $250,000 in sales worldwide in just 25 days on crowd funding site Indiegogo. It is a complete 36V 250W eBike kit with 5Ah or 10Ah battery, available in ANY wheel size and compatible with virtually any bike. The ludicriously low initial price of $299 (about £225, 54% off the RRP) is available until 15 December so you have just 4 days left to take advantage of this deal. Visit here to pre-order: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/swytch-convert-any-bike-into-an-ebike-electric/x/17692689#/ It is a spin-off brand of Panda eBikes, the result of 4 years in the eBike conversion business trying to design a simple, lightweight and universal eBike system that works with any bike - saving the endless back and forth that is usually required to work out which ebike kit and battery type is the best fit for your bike. Any questions let us know!
18. Hi Jonathan Sorry that we missed your most recent support email. The problem you are experiencing of suddenly getting no response from the throttle or PAS is most likely due to accidentally muddling the settings on the LCD display. We have sent through our step-by-step support procedure (also available on our website), please follow this and get back to us - you can also try a factory reset on the LCD display which will correct any accidental setting changes. Cheers!
19. The new Swytch eBike kit is now live and available by pre-order for just $299 (approximately £225) - limited quantity available at this price so act fast! www.swytchbike.com The motor wheel is so compact you wouldn’t ever know it was there, until you feel the power! The innovative design has the motor controller, battery, LED display and front light integrated into a waterproof power pack that can be instantly attached or removed to a Quick-Connect handlebar bracket, which allows it to connect to the motor automatically when you clip it on. It can fit ANY bike. Well, any bike that has handlebars and a wheel, so yeah basically any bike! Even this one!
20. Hi Kamil Just wanted to apologise to you personally and publicly - your order was a complete mess-up. Me and my colleagues were told multiple times by the third party warehouse we use that the goods had been sent out to you, I'm glad that all the items arrived eventually. Regards Oliver
21. Apologies to any customers who prefer to buy from our eBay listings - we have have been trying to move away from eBay for some time to avoid their extortionate fees, we have recently succeeded in bringing sufficient sales directly through our website which has now been realised due to high ranking of our page in search results. We have also almost finished launching our new Builder application on our website making it easier for customers to choose their ideal conversion kit and have complete flexibility over the parts they choose. It is not possible to integrate this with eBay and we want to focus on this method of selecting and purchasing conversion kits as the future of our customer experience. Here is the link to our product builder, feedback is most welcome: https://www.pandaebikes.com/build-your-own/?bid=602853&pid=602851
22. To all of our customers who have experienced delays or errors with their order in the last month - due to the loss of a key member of staff, multiple failed deliveries of new goods, and the spinning off of a new business (SWYTCH) our customer service has been unusually slow and inefficient. Things are now back to normal though you will be glad to hear and we will resolve any outstanding issues. Anyone still waiting for missing parts or for the delivery of an order, please send an email quoting your order number to support@pandaebikes.com and we will resolve your issues immediately. Our sincere apologies once again On behalf of everyone at Panda eBikes Oliver
23. Great! That's exactly the kind of crystal clear communication we need to reach the mass market and get eBikes out there!
24. Would you like to form a company to implement and regulate this? We would be your first customer, and if you're successful I think you could make ALOT of money in the long term
25. If you do some market research you'll find that a very small fraction of the mass market (i.e. people that aren't already into eBikes) have any idea whatsoever what an Ah or a Wh is, let alone what Amps or Volts are exactly. Most find it very confusing especially the difference between an Ah capacity at 24V and Ah at 36V. We take it for granted that it's common knowledge among the eBike community what an Ah or a Wh is and what it measures, and how that translates into what kind of range you can expect. But someone who hasn't studied physics or worked in electronics can't be expected to learn all of this just so that they can be eligible to purchase an eBike. This is particularly important because the eBike market has been niche for a while, but that is changing, and it is becoming a mass-market. The Car industry (the best established mass-market to reference i think) adopted MPG because people understand Miles, and Gallons, and because they are common metrics. It's only natural that the eBike industry also adopts something simple and based on miles, so that people can understand it. Of course, it's not very precise quoting a range in miles, because of all the factors that can affect it, but at least it's understandable to everyone. And there is a certain standard forming on its own which is just the generally accepted conversion of Ah to miles - at the moment it seems to be very commonplace to convert 4-5Ah into "25 miles" and 10Ah or more into "50 miles". We are following this common practice and I think it's the right thing to do because it's actually not misleading, it's just not precise, and more importantly, customers understand it.
