Does anyone know why KTM don't appear to be using Bionx equipment on their 2015 range? Is it due to cost, reliability etc? just curious!

I recently got a POC (skate type) white helmet - it wasn't too expensive and seems very well built. Fit is very good compared to the adjustable decathlon helmet it replaced. Does anyone recommend none-darkened glasses? I use safety glasses that look like conventional spectacles and can recommend them instead of sunglasses for all but the lightest conditions and they stop a large insect at 30mph (down-hill of course) much better than the human eye

I have the White E-mate; not so sexy but nearly as powerful and the bigger battery gives me easily 50 miles range at level 2-3 (out of 5) It was the range that sold it to me, as I like to cycle for 2-3 hours in the countryside close to my home. I can 100% recommend the Oxygen bikes for build quality, and the importers, SYEB are a very friendly and helpful lot. I find that the E-mate with it's main battery operated lights, good carrier for panniers and decent mud guards makes commuting very comfortable. I would strongly recommend upgrading to reinforced tyres (Shwalbe city-jets in this case) and slime tubes; I had a "tyre off" blow out on the back and carrying a 24kg e-bike 3 miles to the nearest bike shop is not my idea of fun.

Hello to D8VEH whom I met yesterday at South Yorkshire Electric Bicycles; hope you enjoyed the Curry (John says he has Ghandi's revenge today - hope you don't!) I would like to thank John and all the staff of SYEB who helped me eventually choose my Oxygen e-mate earlier this year. I tried almost every bike on the market, and it was great to have so many brands and demo models to choose from on one site. Originally I was temped with the Smart e-bike but again being able to test it at SYEB I soon crossed it off the list. Service so far has been exemplary, even replacing a broken light (my fault) and fitting a riser and new front brake cable F.O.C
