Does anyone have a KTM ecross p?

Featured Replies

Hi

I posted this already but it didn't appear anyway... I wondered if anyone had a 2013 KTM ecross p, the one with the Panasonic hub motor, and wouldn't mind giving their impressions please?

I can find a few reviews on the erace p and it reads well, but I thought the gearing looked a bit short on the mtb style for a commute

Thanks

Matt

Yes!

Mine is probably one of the reviews that you have read. I have now done about 150m on mine. Still very impressed. The gearing is fine for road use but the tires are more suited for off road. Rather too many gears in my opinion. The bike accelerates very fast which means that you have to change between gears on the 10 rear cassette rather often! I have ridden at 26mph while still peddeling.

Hi footloose

It's good to know you are impressed with it. I read your post on the erace p. I'm just not sure about the mtb style over a cross type. And they are very difficult to get to test ride :(

Thanks

Matt
