London Electric Bike Company-the biggest stock of e-bikes in the UK?

Featured Replies

We recently opened our new shop in the West of London to answer the criticism that many e-bike dealers hold no stock. It must be frustrating to commit to a long drive and whilst the dealer has a big franchise listing his stock of in-store bikes may be only 2 bikes or less.

It is vital to try a bike before you buy a bike and we are all different shapes and sizes, with different uses and styles of bike in mind. A big stock is essential.

We are one of the first dealers to receive the 2014 KTM and 2014 Haibike models.

The following is our current stock list.

OK if you are looking for a cable tie and duct tape lash-up. It seems to me that LEBC and 50C stock quality products, so I doubt this news will trouble them at all.

Hi you have not seen the new kits for next year it even includes a 48 volt 9 ah kit and a 14 ah 36 volt kit with in frame battery and digital controller in the case on the down tube very like to the oxygen kit

I should know we will be supplying them on our web site next year including the 750 watt crank drive

Frank, that would be excellent news, competition is always good for business....look at restaurants one isolated restaurant does little business but a group together offers a choice and it becomes the place to go for a meal.

Similarly if Sigma Sport started selling ebikes or parts it would be good for us all. But I think it unlikely their business is in high end non assisted bikes,it would be a strange change of direction for them.

However,I will say Sigma Sport is a beautiful shop and LEBC is proud to be near them, customers buy their ebikes from us and then buy accessories from Sigma Sport,we sit in good harmony.

Hampton Wick is rapidly becoming the bicycles oasis of West London.

cheers

Tom

Hi tom

I total agree with you Hampton wick will be the place all Londoners will come to and it has a massive catchment area

I think you have taken on a vocation, rather than a new life! ;)

You're not wrong there Phil ....... but Im loving it...mind you, its only been a month !!

Getting used to 14 hour days has taken some adjusting to......I was pleased to get to the NEC for a rest, well, for something different anyway...... :)

Lynda :)

In our defence, we're less than 15 mins from Junction 6 of M5, 1 right turn and 2 lefts off the A449...I'd say that's very accessible...though in fairness, customers have been known to roam the trading estate for days upon end, tiring from dehydration and finally arriving with a wild look in their eyes after missing the turning.

God forbid I ever have to do a real weeks work!

I only do this because it's fun and we get to meet some lovely like minded people...We're enjoying it, and feel the customers will get a better service because of that.

I would love to work for you, but I don't think I could cope with an extra day a week:o

I don't blame you at all Martin, in an ideal world we'd all work 24 hours or less a week, and if our politicians had known what they were doing over the last 50 years, we would be. Customers though are not the most understanding of humans where suppliers are concerned, something that would soon become apparent if someone's new e-bike broke down immediatelyafter collecting it late on Friday and they had to wait five days before being able to do anything about it.

They could always come in on the Saturday as we are open then of course, but i see your point-some people wouldn't be happy to wait 3 days to have attention unfortunately.

Can't please all the people all the time, though I always answer Email out of hours which goes some way to help (hopefully).
