January 6, 201412 yr Hi Wes, Where did you get your battery? Normally bottle type battery uses 2.5 DC plug to charge. Would you be able to show the charging plug from your battery/charger? You can get it from BMSbattery Alloy Shell 120W LiFePo4/Li-Ion/Lead Acid Battery EBike Charger - BMSBATTERY Pat

January 6, 201412 yr Any 36v lithium charger will work. It should have a charging voltage of 41.7v to 42.0v. You only have to change the plug to one from Maplin, or cut one off something you have lying round the house unused/broken. Use a meter to put it the right way round. Don't go by the colours of the wires. 36V 1.8A 2.5A 4.5A Scooter Lithium Battery Charger Lifepo4 Battery Ebike Charger | eBay you could try Woosh or Kudos, who normally carry cheap spares. I daisy-chain my connectors so that I have three different connectors on the same charger. It saves a lot of messing about hunting for the right one when you have lots of different batteries.
January 6, 201412 yr Hi Wesley, Either goes for Dave's option or BMSbattery you will be fine, It might take some time as they are from China. Make sure you check the polarity of the charging port when it arrives You might need to be quick though as chinese new year is coming which delays quite a lot for the shipment. For UK supplies Kudos seems to supply a charger for £20. You should check the charging port with them if you do not want to make your own port. Pat Edited January 6, 201412 yr by patpatbut

You won't need to change any plugs or leads. Comes with a standard UK power lead and it's in a big case so does not get so hot as the other chargers that you can fry an egg on them. Let me know if you are interested, will work work out a good deal for you. Special Jan discount. Ha, it's my first time when I did a blatlant free advertising here all the best Andrew
