May 6, 201411 yr I have just been looking at my stats for my last big ride on strava. Everything is in my profile, and the recording is done on an edge 500. So. Strava weighs up.. my age.. 65:eek: my weight 175lbs:cool: my bike weight 45lbs plus the rest! It extrapolates this and then decides I must be an olympic athlete because in 90 minutes I burned off 1600 calories outputting up to 566 watts!! Its no small wonder I can pass the licralists on the hills.. And I thought it was just the bike!
May 6, 201411 yr Are you getting KOM? Would be interesting to see if they get reported if you are and how Strava handles this. Andrew
May 6, 201411 yr Author No, I deliberately don't try too hard on steep hills and if I am in the top 3 I make it private.
May 7, 201411 yr Just about every KOM in london has been taken by someone on a motorbike or scooter or in a car, have given up on them apart from to see my own PRs and stuff. Mostly riding my single speed. http://app.strava.com/athletes/clockwise
