Replacement charger

Featured Replies

Hello. Few days ago I've dropped my charger and coil inside got damaged beyond repair. Now I'm in need of a replacement charger but I'm not sure which one to get. For start my battery is that water bottle kind Lithium-Ion 36v 11Ah and has a coaxial power DC 5.5mm connector. I've been looking on e Bay and the there is planty of chargers out there but unfortunately with different connectors (like 3 pin). Assuming I will change connector plug can I use any 36v charger like one for lead batteries. Also thing I don't get is that some chargers are listed with battery capacity like 7ah or 20ah. If my battery is 11ah then which one would be better 7ah or 20ah ?

Regards

Dave

Thx for the clue. Just a question. Am i right thinking that any 42v 2a ebike charger would do?
yes, any charger for 36V Lithium ion batteries will be OK. You only need the right charging plug.

Thank you again. Just ordered one from eBay. Sadly battery is discharged so hopefully this charger will get here soon.
