June 20, 200817 yr Anyone kicking their heels this weekend and in striking distance of York may wish to visit the York Cycle Show . Mostly of the non-electric variety although we'll be taking along various Heinzmann bikes. Test track, kids events, day rides.... Hope to see some regular and new faces.
June 20, 200817 yr There are also plenty of events across the country. Tomorrow I am taking the family to an event in Trent Park, North London. Described as a family picknick but I think the weather will put paid to that. On the way home in London yesterday at around midnight we were mobbed my cyclists. Great to see and I think they must have been coming back from an event to do with bike week. Shame I was in a cab coming back from work rather than on my bike. Edited June 20, 200817 yr by HarryB
June 20, 200817 yr You may be lucky with the weather. The revised forecast at midday had the band of rain from central London and above first thing, rapidly moving northwards to clear London, with the midlands catching the worst. 16 degrees but humid. .
