Let me see if I have this right as I sip my morning bean-to-cup. Today, we have a PM who had no need to but chose to call an election in order to strengthen her hand. As part of her strategy to realise that ambition, she refused to take part in any meaningful debate with opposition leaders and her major slogan was 'strong and stable leadership'. That is what she told the nation repeatedly.

 

Okay, I despise the tory party and everything they claim to stand for but surely this election result has singularly failed to bring about the result that May wanted? It seems that the tories must now rely on others to achieve progress through parliament of any legislation they might wish to impose on the country. That to me therefore means her gambit has failed spectacularly to achieve her aim.

 

That being the case, surely she must now step down as the last thing the country needs right now is a leader with such flawed judgement.

 

As for individual results, I was a little saddened to see Alex Salmond lose his seat as he was always an intelligent orator, well able to hold his own in any political debate. On the other hand, I was delighted to see the ex-deputy PM, purely a career politician with no commitment to anything other than self-aggrandisement, lose his seat.

 

With just a few fairly predictable results to come in at this stage, I don't expect there to be much change so a hung parliament it is. For Theresa May, I cannot see how she can carry on but being the despicable creature she is, I fear she may attempt to ignore the will of the people and carry on. That being the case, I expect the tory party grandees to push her out as soon as they can find someone stupid enough to want the job.

Theresa May is a bully. She is incapable of engaging with people, inspiring them or taking anyone with her in her in decisions. She can only make progress when all rights of redress or ability to oppose have been removed. Her track record then suggests that she goes on to make unopposed bad decisions.

 

No doubt, she thought Corbyn was an idiot and completely underestimated his ability, viewing him as the nerd in the playground who is ripe for bullying and exploitation. How sweet it is to see this bully being humiliated and disowned by people who only 10 hours ago were her supporters. Her ego has taken such a battering that you can see the anger seeping from within her. I can't wait to see some May baiting on TV later.

 

I see that Anna Soufflé is the first to desert her (ahem), sticking the knife in, ready and eager to hitch her waggon to the next gravy train which rolls into town.

The backdrop to the country is not good, we look indecisive and rudderless with MPs feigning support and enthusiasm for whatever topic keeps them in parliament. We can't negotiate our departure from the EU in the present climate, there is no one left with sufficient credibility to do it.

 

I think we will need another election within twelve months with MPs stating exactly where they stand with regard to BREXIT. It is BREXIT that has been the catalyst for the present situation and the self centred idiots in Westminster for turning it into turmoil. BREXIT is not going to go away, it needs to be slayed once and for all or acted upon and seen through to the end. BREXIT needs to be the central theme of the next General Election.

There is much opinion (varied) in the international media about the Saudi Arabian football team refusing to show proper respect for the victims of the recent London atrocity, including an Australian in the match against Australia yesterday.

 

I don't accept any of the feeble excuses for that shocking lack of empathy from the Saudis but everyone needs to be aware that the evil bitch posing as our PM has previously intimated how the rich Sheikhs are one of our strongest allies and defender of our interests in the gulf.

 

Once again, she has demonstrated how warped her judgement is as those people are no friends of the UK and never have been.

BREXIT will return stronger than before if that happens. BREXIT needs dealing with openly and either killing off or enacting through democratic process. Hiding it under the carpet isn't a solution.

I note Simon Hughes, the former MP for Bermondsey, has tweeted lovely things about Nick Clegg, calling him a 'great European'......that just serves to demonstrate how out of touch with reality the laughable demo-rats are.

 

Simon Hughes himself was basically a middle-of-the-road town councillor in style, rather out of his depth as an MP whose only real claim to fame was in keeping a Labour candidate out of parliament for 32 years.

 

No doubt we shall hear similar platitudes about Clegg from some of the other nonentities on the Westminster scene. I expect to hear something in his usual pontificating manner from Paddy, Baron (I was a soldier) Ashdown before the morning is out.

My two highlights:

 

In my previously always marginal constituency where Gavin Barlow won by just 165 votes last time, we've totally changed the scene. Now Sarah Jones for Labour has won by a record 6652 votes amd the Tories have lost their housing minister (not that he ever housed anyone).

 

And Theresa May's decison to call an election has reduced her 17 overall majority to what is likely to be 5, once again demonstrating her unsuitability for any political office.

 

And my big disappointment?

 

So many Scots taking leave of their senses and electing 13 Tory MPs. If they'd stuck to the one they had before, Theresa May's overall majority of 17 would have been reduced to an overall minority of around 15. Scotland, you let us down.

Having won our marginal seat by just 165 votes last time, Tory Gavin Barwell rather arrogantly wrote a book titled "How to Win a Marginal".

 

Now he's lost it to Labour who have a record majority of well over 6000 votes, he needs to write a sequel:
