October 16, 20169 yr Got a puncture in my front tyre the other day. Inspecting the tyre I noticed it had a split along it and realized it had been on since the bike was new. It's done nearly 14'000 miles. Not bad I thought. I think it's time to replace it now I must have got my moneys worth out of it by now. Go on then beat that, how many miles have others tyres been lasting?

It's ok, I have replaced it with the tyre I took off the rear motor wheel which I put a Marathon+ on when it had only done about 1000 miles. Sorted for another couple of years now.
October 16, 20169 yr To be honest, for safety's sake, I reckon you're better off having safer tread on your tyres than a few quid in the bank.
