The safety of our e-bikes and their users is our highest concern. For this, we periodically through extensive testing against external testing institutes. Our criteria are as well partly well above those specified by DIN, ISO or EN standards Standards.

 

In addition, periodically driving tests with our e-bike models can be performed. Our comprehensive measures to ensure a high quality of our e-bikes and for a timely response possible, in case of shortage.

 

In tests, we found that the built-in models Haibike XDURO Race, Super Race and Urban fork may show premature fatigue during above the norm lying stress tests. Therefore, there may be cracks in the fork or the fork broken under certain circumstances. This presents a considerable safety and risk of injury is to the user. The vehicle may not be used. For safety reasons, all these models have to be taken out of service immediately.
