Sunko 788H spot welder for spares

Featured Replies

i hate chucking stuff out so free to a good home? Useful for spare parts. Foot pedal not included.

Happy to have a play with this, are you ok with posting? Obviously I'll cover the cost. Many thanks.

I'm in suffolk, I was just about to have a go at building a 6pence welder but like the idea of toying with this first. Yes I'm aware it's for spares and handy it will be going down the DIY spot welder root as I plan to do.

Got the welder semi sort of working, not sure how long it will last so I will let the forum know once we've built our first battery pack with it!

The question I have is welding tips, does anyone have a source of these in the UK?

Thanks Dave, was looking for a UK supplier but it's looking more and more that I may have to go AliExpress.

Is it the same welder that you have?

Mine's a 788+.

Excellent! I sort of had it working too. But after tripping 60amp breakers running through a 40mtr extension I thought enough was enough.

That thing was freaking too scary :D

Good luck and play safe ;)
