July 23, 20178 yr For anybody interested in what the realistic range on a Carrera e is... I'm 14 stone and ride generally on or around the Sunderland end of the C2C route so they're are quite a few short hills that can be quite step and frequent but no real big long hills. If I go out on my own I normally leave it on tour (50 percent assist) and get 40 miles from a charge. If I go out with my wife (who rides a regular non-electric push bike) I ride in Eco (25 percent assist) most of the time and put it into either tour or climb (75 percent assist) for the hills and I get about 52 miles from a full charge.

I was actually mocked during the ride today by some passing cyclists for this beer reason. I've offered to get her one but until she can't make it up the hills she is determined to carry on.
