June 14, 20187 yr so, if you had up to £1k to spend on a ride to work scheme, what would you buy? Especially if your commute is hilly, 8-10 miles each way, you’re 6’2’’ and about 17 or 18 stone. Not too unfit though.

June 14, 20187 yr all scheme providers charge the retailers a commission for their vouchers. Some as little as 5%, some as much as 15%. Most vendors are forced to pass that commission to the customers. If you have for example a cyclescheme.co.uk voucher, it's worth £850 to the retailers. You can top up the vouchers to buy the bike you want. If you are lucky, your employers does not use a scheme, you can ask your employer to use our free C2W contract template to create your own scheme which gives you all the advantages without commission.
