September 16, 20196 yr Hi All, I recently killed the original throttle on my Fiido D2 and have bought a brainpower controller LCD and throttle kit. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07MPV259Y?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title The kit looks pretty simple but I have a couple of questions: 1) can I use the existing stock PAS system or is it best to swap it out? 2) I have a light/horn and a usb on the bike and wondered if I easily get this wired in also? This is the wiring diagram Thanks in advance for any help. Paul
September 16, 20196 yr You can probably use your original PAS, but check that the wires in the connector are in the right sequence to match the controller. Yes, you can wire in your horn and light. It's best to splice in two wires to feed them into your battery wires. You cut off both the 4-pin and 3-pin connectors from your old controller and leave them joined by the two wires, then you run the black from the 3-pin to the black battery wire and the two orange wires in the 4-pin to the red battery wire. You'll need a speed sensor for the LCD to indicate the speed properly and you'll need to do the self-learning procedure. Don't leave the self-learning wires (intelligent identification) connected afterwards. Edited September 16, 20196 yr by vfr400
September 17, 20196 yr Author Thanks for the help, got the bike going just need to tweak the settings. Do you know what the p 0-5 settings are? The bike is stuttering a little if I don't pedal any thoughts on that? I know it's not quite right hopefully just the settings. Is there a way I can still use the original horn and light switch. Thanks again Paul
September 18, 20196 yr P5 has settings 3 for three PAS levels and 5 for 5. You need to explain about the stuttering. I already answered about your horn and lights.
