February 25, 20215 yr short post will this system accept a non Yamaha battery? or does it have to be a genuine Yamaha battery ? longer post Hi folks, I’m still on my quest for a bike for my sister and a “Ladies Giant Entour E+1 Step-Thru 2018” (Yamaha sync-drive) has popped up locally. It’s unused in mint condition and totally as new. it rides fine but I’m concerned that it only has a 300W battery (stood for nearly 3 years), I know it won’t have the range we need so was thinking about a second battery. My question is, will this system accept a non Yamaha battery? (and the best place to buy) or does it have to be a genuine Yamaha battery ? (this will make buying the bike unviable)
February 25, 20215 yr giant use the Yamaha motor but make there own batts and displays so id be carful trying another non giant batt.
