Hardrock Specialized Bike

Featured Replies

Hi

I have just been given a Hardrock bike and I love the look of the bike. I want to convert to a rear hub motor as I have done several of these. However, when I look at the drop-outs they are small and I wondered whether it would be too much torque through them. Is it possible to extend them? On other bikes I have converted I have had a friend make torque plates but he doesn't want to because he thinks they are too small. I was going to put 1500 watt rear motor.

Thanks

Rich
