It does not go anywhere else.We have very few liquification facilities and we have limited inter connector capacity to export that gas.Miliband's claims that the gas would not benefit the UK are an absolute lie.Listen to the video. That argument seems straight forward at first but really, is it arrect? Just look at the price of petrol at the forecourt in countries that have not even taking part In the war in iran. The price of oil and gas are led by the mercantile exchanges.

Just look at the price of petrol at the forecourt in countries that are not even taking part In the war in iran. The price of oil and gas are led by the mercantile exchanges. The way companies look at oil and gas is how much it will cost to extract, how much the current price would yield in profit. When a war starts, people will say why don't we drill for oil. As soon as the war stops, they don't care any more. Edited 4 hours ago4 hr by Woosh
2 hours ago2 hr Have you thought about tax changes?Something more than half the price of petrol in the UK is tax. We even pay tax on tax. VAT is charged on the fuel duty which together make up almost half of the price of road fuel.
1 hour ago1 hr That's an indirect tax. Everyone pays as you go. Socialists would want to lower indirect taxes and increase direct taxes like NI , CT, Stamp Duty, Inheritance tax etc.Capitalists would want only indirect taxes on consumption.Legitimate targets for Reform.
