February 7Feb 7 there wifi cams use usb c power its just the 2 ap that are wired and powered but i have another 3 ap meshed together to cover the 6 cams 2hd and 4 2k. https://eu.store.ui.com/eu/en/products/uvc-g4-ins
February 7Feb 7 Author I'd avoid long runs of USB-C power to the wired ones, you don't want wires to melt or catch aflame. Why not use AC power extensions to the USB-C power adapters?
February 7Feb 7 they come with cables but there made in such a way a 3rd party cable don fit the charger or cam unless i use the one with it. usb c is a fkn nightmare some cables work some dont or will if i turn them round power spec is all over the place adaptors fall to bits even if they fit so just use the adaptors and cables they come with n use a screwdriver in the earth to fit a 2 pin adaptor.
February 7Feb 7 Author I've had cheap thin USB cables melt with 2A. Make your own with thick beefy power wires? Dremel to make them fit.
February 7Feb 7 I've had cheap thin USB cables melt with 2A. Make your own with thick beefy power wires? Dremel to make them fit. i did and destroyed it but it needs a constant output non stop some chargers cant do this as not meant to be used as a psu non stop usb c cables just a fkn nightmare
February 12Feb 12 Author i did and destroyed it but it needs a constant output non stop some chargers cant do this as not meant to be used as a psu non stop usb c cables just a fkn nightmare Are you sure it isn't just oxidisation due to humidity blackening your CAT5 connectors? Have you tried cleaning the contacts with isopropyl? Happened to my bi-wired speaker wires recently and I haven't even been running them hard. Noticed when one went quiet, thought it might have been a faulty crossover...

March 1Mar 1 The ROLV Primitive "ROLV is not an optimization, a kernel or a library. It is a new compute primitive—a universal sparse operator that works across GPUs, TPUs, CPUs, mobile SoCs, and next-generation accelerators. ROLV produces identical normalized outputs across architectures, anchored by deterministic hashing and public validation harnesses. This is the first time sparse compute has achieved backend-agnostic reproducibility. ROLV requires no retraining, no model changes, no hardware changes, and no compiler changes. It plugs directly into existing inference and training stacks to mathematically eliminate "Zero-FLOPs"—the wasted operations where hardware burns energy and time multiplying or loading zeros." https://rolv.ai/

March 12Mar 12 Author RAM is still about 5X to 6X what I paid a few mere months ago. Looks as though even Chinese cheapos will be over 3.5 times the price, when it eventually becomes available to consumers. I bloody well hope the damned AI crash happens soon - at this rate, Nadella's dream of low specced thin client AI cloud blighted Windows snoopware boxes of various sizes, will all most will be able to afford.
