February 20, 20233 yr Hi guys!! So I recently bought I new controller for my b20 it's a brainpower with s886 lcd display I was aware some of the connector were different that's fine I figured it out and soldered the right wires to the right connectors However I have no idea where the throttle is supposed to connect? Was wondering if anyone here has put an aftermarket controller on their b20 or has any advice? Any help help is welcome Thanks
February 20, 20233 yr The 3 pin connector with red white and black cables. It’s labelled turn the handle speed control knob
February 20, 20233 yr Author Thanks for the reply, I know that but i dont know where/how to connect it on the bike
February 20, 20233 yr Do you have a throttle on your bike? If you don’t then it doesn’t need to be connected to anything.
February 20, 20233 yr Author Do you have a throttle on your bike? If you don’t then it doesn’t need to be connected to anything. Yes it have a throttle, and it has a connector which I have no idea where it goes I can send pics of both if it helps?
February 20, 20233 yr Blimey, I just took a look at a B20 on Windgoo’s site. There are a lot of cockpit features on some of those bikes, cruise control button, full twist throttle, horn button, power on button. No wonder you don’t know where to connect the throttle to. Probably best to post up some photos, especially of the wiring harness so someone can help. Edited February 20, 20233 yr by AGS
February 20, 20233 yr Author Yeah as you can see it's pretty confusing I've managed to figure the battery and motor, the connectors needed soldering on. I know the brakes and the LCD ofc but the throttle... I have no idea I'll upload pics of windgoo controller
February 20, 20233 yr I have attached a photo of the B20 throttle/display which should help you identify the wires. But I think you will be better off by fitting a new 3 wire basic full twist throttle to the new controller. Edited February 20, 20233 yr by AGS
February 20, 20233 yr Author Thank you, I think the bit I was struggling with Is that it is 5 wires, and there's no obvious connection, would a 3 wire throttle be easier to connect and if so how would I know if its compatible with my b20?

Also is there no way I could connect my current throttle to the brainpower controller?
February 20, 20233 yr 3 of those 7 wires are for the throttle and it’s just guesswork trying to figure out which ones they are. If you buy a new throttle try to get one with a 3 pin jst connector so it plugs straight into your new controller. My guess is red, black and one of the white ones. But chinese manufacturers can have a mind of their own when it comes to colour coding. Edited February 20, 20233 yr by AGS
