Don't waste time with strap-ons. Get yourself a towball and a proper carrier; or take the front wheel off and stick it in the back, which is the best option for an Audi Avant. The bike on the back makes a massive difference to fuel economy. With a strap-on, your fuel usage will increase by 100%. I'm not kidding!
June 8, 20232 yr I've never found a truly sturdy strap on and electrics are far too heavy to lift onto the roff, even with the battery removed.
