A lot of ebike dealers became over-stocked in 2022 because there was a massive boom in 2020/2021 due to covid. They all expected it to continue, but sales fell off a cliff in 2022 and have hardly recovered since, so there are a lot of 2022 bikes still unsold. On the plus side, most of them are now being sold at reduced prices. How much did you pay? At the moment most are selling it at £700 instead of the £1000 it was in 2022, so you can't complain.

Thanks, Thats a relief! It is only the small frame size that is £699 in store. All other sizes are £999. Even though I am only 5' 9" I perfer the riding position on XL. I was looking at the small frame and considered making some adjustments for handlebars and cranks but they insisted it was not possible.

June 30, 20241 yr Author It is possible, but silly thing to do. If your size is XL, then buy XL bike, not S. £300 apart might have had an influence. They recommended a M for my height. I could not feel that much difference between that and the S. My other bike was a XL so went with that.
June 30, 20241 yr What Brand motors do these use? Rockrider ST100 has no motor. E-Rockrider ST100 has rear hub motor, but which one... god knows. Decathlon didn't bother to specify. You should ask Decathlon. There should be something engraved on the motor. Have a closer look,
