Electric tricycle iwant to buy

Featured Replies

You will need to provide a bit more information than that!

About you:

Age, size, weight, how much assistance is needed, whether you can provide much power via the pedals.

About the riding you plan to do:

Distance, steepest hills, longest hills, tarmac or off road, how much baggage needs to be carried.

Practicalities:

Where will it be stored, where will the battery be charged (on or off the bike, indoors or outdoors), does it need to fold.

Have you seen a style or model you like?

More detail, better help.

And budget, could it be secondhand, could it be a conversion?

Specialised, new electric trikes are almost all high budget.

Secondhand, non-electric can be real bargains, and suitable for conversion.

I need advice on the best electric tricycle for me to buy

Hi Alan, welcome along..

Trikes can be anything from a fixed frame 3 wheeler thats a sod to corner beyond 6mph to a high spec recumbent with enough engineering to provide for cornering at speeds more inline with e-bikes

Or are you interested in an electric tuktuk type vehicle for cargo transport??
