March 8Mar 8 Hi new here! I have a Denver E-2000 folding bike and looking to source a replacement battery. Its rear rack mounted. I bought the bike second hand and it had never been used but sat uncharged for 2 years. Now out of warranty. The battery won't accept a charge. This is the discharge connection. Can anyone point me to either a refurbish or replacement

March 8Mar 8 It'll be easier to chuck the rack and battery receiver, and get a new rack battery and rack. There are loads on Ebay, Amazon and Aliexpress. They all work the same with two wires. Your controller is located in that compartment, so you have to open it and take the controller out. The new rack and battery needs the compartment at the front to put the controller in. You didn’t tell us the voltage, so I can't point you at one. https://www.google.com/search?q=rack+battery+for+20%22+wheel+ebike&client=tablet-android-samsung-ss&hs=U3Tp&sca_esv=d68f2633f4bc5039&sxsrf=ANbL-n7oa6sHXBi2FSzcGao5G9n0W_ct0g%3A1772981051327&ei=O4utaYzME7aQxc8P5KOH0Ak&biw=1204&bih=579&ved=0ahUKEwjM1YeOxZCTAxU2SPEDHeTRAZoQ4dUDCBM&uact=5&oq=rack+battery+for+20%22+wheel+ebike&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiIHJhY2sgYmF0dGVyeSBmb3IgMjAiIHdoZWVsIGViaWtlMgUQABjvBTIIEAAYiQUYogRIx1dQsglY9EZwAXgBkAEAmAGIAaABjQiqAQMzLje4AQPIAQD4AQGYAgugAvYIwgIKEAAYRxjWBBiwA8ICBxAjGLACGCfCAggQABgFGB4YDcICCxAAGIAEGIoFGIYDwgIIEAAYgAQYogSYAwCIBgGQBgiSBwM0LjegB8odsgcDMy43uAfoCMIHCTAuMS40LjUuMcgHWYAIAQ&sclient=gws-wiz-serp

March 8Mar 8 Thanks that’s really helpful it’s a 36v 10 Ah is thee an issue with the type of plug that the controller connects with? You an look in the compartment to see what yours has. Mostly, they have male and female bullet connectors, but if they have something that doesnt match, you can cut them off and solder the wires together.

It might fit your existing rack, which would save a bit of messing about, but you need to be sure, though that receiver can be bolted to any flat rack.
March 9Mar 9 You might want to consider going to a local bike shop or doing a bit of study before you attempt to fit a battery on your bike especially if you have no experience with electrical systems. Or post all your pictures of your bike what you need lots of them on here and get advice before you do anything.
