How can I repair or get a new battery for Kalkoff ProConnect S

I have a new 2010 Kalkoff Proconnect S, that has been in storage since I purchased it from 50Cycles.

The Panasonic battery will not charge, so the Li Ion batteries are probably dead. How can I either get a new battery or have this one reconditioned, without paying for an amount equal to a new ebike?

    I too have a Kalkoff Proconnect S, I purchased it from 50Cycles.

    Last summer I purchased a replacement battery from ebay.

    It seems to be working ok and came from "ElectroPapa" if that helps
