reasonable performance ?

Featured Replies

I went for a little ride last night and i wondered whether you consider this a reasonable performance from the Agattu...given the terrain.

1st light on bars went at 14.85 miles

2nd light at 24.50

Gmaps Pedometer

That looks fine to me. Taking it out to the fast flashing stage of the last LED should be well past 30 miles and possibly near 35, average to good for an Agattu in fairly hilly territory with a new battery.

It's impossible to be precise of course, everyone's pedalling input is different and how the power level switching is used also affects the range.

i tended to keep it in low except where required but never put it on high...i think i must be getting fitter....67 miles in last couple of days averaging 15.4 mph...i have been really giving its some ! Nobody can say you can't get fit off an electric bike...Planning a trip to St Annes either today or tomorrow which is 23 miles each way....but a lot flatter ! I think we should both easily cope with that.:)

You certainly are getting fitter! That is a great average speed on an Agattu and far faster than the very fit Henshaws of A to B magazine managed.

Actually that's well into the zone where switching to an unpowered bike is a realistic option.
