would anyone mind telling me what the red power button at the bottom of the pic is supposed to do?

Has never done anything since i got the bike, just wondering what it's for?

It's an urban glider um33 (not made any more). I purchased from the national trust 2 years ago but no manual came with it and not found anything on the net.

Throttles fitted are sometimes standard items with not all facilities used.

Might be cruise control, I have one on my Ebike in China. Ride with your throttle open then press the button and release the throttle. If the bike maintains its speed, you have cruise control.
