June 23, 201114 yr Hello all, is it possible to buy some sort of seat suspension for my 905 XC, as you know it has suspension front but a very hard seat and I thought it might be possible to have some sort of help in the seat, or in the seat pole. Barrie
June 27, 201114 yr If it's too hard you may need to adjust the preload with the socket underneath the seatpost, alternatively some find the Brooks saddles very comfortable with it's built in springs. I go for no suspension myself so I don't know from experience.
June 29, 201114 yr My Kalkhoff has a sprung seat post, very effective it is too. 50Cycles sell them, find them at this link SystemEx Sprung Seatpost Hope this helps.
June 30, 201114 yr Author Hi Biged, thanks for that, tried to buy one this morning, order declined, must be out of stock, will give them a call. Barrie
June 30, 201114 yr I misread the first post, I thought you already had the seatpost suspension. I've had one like that, my 905 came with it. I wouldn't bother trying it again as they don't work well. The Thudbuster is more pricey but seems to be the only one that people say works well.
