Motor going backwards all of a sudden?

Hello all! I built my bike about 4 weeks ago and everything was going well so far. I used this kit (the 48v 1500w model): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003495298236.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.2f351802lhgfzN However, the motor has decided it now wants to go backwards! I presumed it...

Throttle lost its springosity. Acting strange

Darn! Strange that its damaged. I didn't apply any excessive pressure to it when tightening the handlebar. Bike has never been dropped or bashed (yet!). I'll contact Andy at Woosh and see how much they are. Will probably wait until after Christmas when funds have been replenished. Thanks all.

Throttle lost its springosity. Acting strange

Hi all, Woosh Big Bear rider here. Riding to work today I noticed my handlebars were a little loose so I pulled over and tightened them up. After which my throttle has lost a bit of its springiness. When I engage the throttle (pulling it towards me) it still works fine, but doesn't feel the...

Bosses for Big Bear Front Vs

I took it to my LBS but they said they didn't have anything and couldn't find anything on the net. The fork is top gun: http://wooshbikes.co.uk/2014/bigbear/bigbear-6-800.jpg

Inner tubes.. Am I going mad?

Ahhh. I took it for a test ride and it works fine. No bumpiness or anything. Any problems if it is actually the wrong tube? The one that was in there originally looked the same size when compared

375 miles need new brake pads!

No not patronising. I'm pretty new to this. I put the new pads on and they work a dream. Put pennies between the pads and the rim. Pulled it tight and tightened the brake cable. A bit of adjustment on the springs and it's all good. For now

375 miles need new brake pads!

Oh and yes. I did move the cable. Kept doing it and doing it. It was either full lock or no contact :(

Really? I was adjusting them with my allen key and even when perfectly aligned they hardly gripped... am I doing something wrong?

375 miles need new brake pads!

It would bother me. There's a couple of times I'd have rammed into the back of a car without it!

375 miles need new brake pads!

Looks like I'll just keep buying a regular supply of pads and change them every month or so. At 1.99 each that's not too bad. Cheaper than petrol!

375 miles need new brake pads!

Thanks trex. You mean prolonging the life of the rims as apposed to pads? Or both?

375 miles need new brake pads!

Good idea. I do 20 miles a day, 5 times a week. With a backpack with various bits in it. 11st 3 lbs. Looks like I'll be asking for a bag of brake pads for Christmas! Am going to get some V brakes fitted to the front too. So even more pads will be needed. I just don't get on with mechanical discs
