    Furo X

I have one. Had it since September 2018. In short, I love it. It's the best electric bike which I've owned in terms of usability and riding pleasure. In truth I've never folded it - as it lives in my garage. I sold a previous Kalkhoff because due to a hip condition I was struggling to mount it...

A light fast bike hits the market.

If the claimed range and performance are true that's a pretty impressive spec. I don't know of any conversion kit for a road bike which would achieve what they seem to be setting out to do which is to make an E bike look as indistinguishable as possible from a 'regular' bike?

    Bigfish folding ebike

Apologies in advance if this one has already been picked up; I've searched the Forum and can't find a reference to this forthcoming 16 in crank drive electric folder. Not going to rival an electric Brompton in terms of compactness of fold, but the design and funky folding buttons is...

Why don't we make bikes in the UK any more.

Dave sorry mate, but you're way off the mark re Councils and rates. National non-domestic rates - which is what you refer to are an intrinsic part of national taxation. The level is set by central government not Councils. Councils simply collect the rates on behalf of central government in the...

    towpaths - a cautionary tale

I thought canals were generally about 4 ft deep except at locks, is that correct? exactly so - probably more like 3ft and that's in the middle. Remember the canals were hand cut by Irish navvies 200 years ago to carry boats drawing a couple of foot of water. Water which has to pumped to the...
