I have a Bafang BBS02B with a 48V battery. I've a 52 V battery arriving.

My question is, if I forget to tell the 850c display that I've put the wrong battery in, will I break the controller? (750W Bafang)

So, should I have to change the settings every time I switch my battery? (I need to)

What will happen if I forget?

It won't hurt it but go into the display settings and change the battery setting from 48v to UBE.
UBE means detected by system
You may notice that the voltage on the display does not go above 56 volts but don't worry, once your battery drops below this it will read correctly.

Nice to see old face again on the forum.

Thanks, I don't seem to have an UBE setting on the 850c display for the power levels. Just here ...
8.16 Assistance levels : This setting allows you to customise the assistance levels, options are 3/5/9/UBE, UBE represent factory default settings.
