Are you serious?

Has the bike broken? Didn't you just get a Sanyo battery and Phylion battery and controller? How can you claim £400 for something that might not happen - ie a warranty claim? I don't understand some people on this forum. I seriously doubt that you would ever get a full refund because they cannot honour the warranty - especially if you have not needed to use the warranty.

I would presume that the new uk Ezee agent will honour any warranties on behalf of Ezee.

Would recommed talking to 50 cycles and or Ezee first before this thread goes, well you know...

Can't believe some of the threads against 50 cycles recently.

This one is now bordering on the insane. I mean can you imagine if we all got refunds on all products that never honoured the "warranty" or the company went bust or they stopped stocking "that particular item"

So what if 50 Cycles aint stocking Ezee range anymore, they've moved on and bringing a different range to the market.
I wish more companies would do that and give us all a better range and choice.

I've never used 50 Cycles for the reason the bikes are way to big for me but would not hesitate to use them if a suitable bike was available.

I think we all have problems and waiting times with our leccy bikes, I had a 4+ month wait for my bike from UM and I know full well that when I need bits for it, even if still under warranty the possibilty of them not being around or parts not available anymore is a very high probability.

Its just a fact of life I'm afraid, but I think we should stop knocking those who do provide us with the choice in the first place.

JOKES my ASS....WHERE'S mY REFUND?.... My Lawyer WILL be in touch with you 50 cycles..... bank on it ...........................
Honestly......does anyone know what this means? Put the bottle down Pink Floyd and off to bed I think.

Damned right.... quite a few laughing stocks here having purchased bikes at RRP with warranties as good as USELESS..... and guess who's laughing all the way to the bank?......................

Anyways..... balls to it..... just glad I didn't take out of one of those "extended" warranties..... that would have proved a right joke! And guys, it's not so much "your bike is fine what's your gripe?" it's more a case of "when my bike ain't fine and they can't honour the warranty..........."

Nuff said and if I'm out of order here then you're a strange bunch.... I mean you wouldn't fork out £1300 for a TV with a 3 year warranty only to be told a week later "sorry if anything goes wrong with it we can't help you" and be happy with that state of affairs? then again, maybe you would?..............

And, YES, under the circumstances I feel a partial refund is most certainly in order.... a proportion of the RRP factors in warranty and IF that warranty cannot be honoured then a partial refund should, IMHO, be offered. They have offered to take the bike back and replace with a kalkhoff but I don't want a friggin' kalkhoff, If I'd have wanted a kalkhoff I would have ordered one from the get go...... I just wish they'd told me (ie: been up front) that 3 days after selling me my bike they would not be able to honour any warranty claims (should they arise) and that all traces of "Ezee" would disappear from their website..... one minute the "best e-bike EVER" the next not a damned trace of them on their website!

Oh well.........
