Flippin heck far too fast for me lol lol. The other day my average speed was 12.1 mph. This was after cycling 13.5 miles round and round the new cycle track near home. So pretty pathetic compared to some of you, but I was very happy as I think it's my best yet since chemo etc...

I have had a few rides at 6 to 12 MPH and enjoyed the ride stopping to see all the new life around (Lambs and bird life) with the weather being so mild it has been a joy just to ride slowly and creep up on the young rabbits and pheasants.

It certainly is! On one occasion I rode slowly alongside a pair of muntjac deer walking on the edge of the road and showing no fear. Normally they avoid any human contact, but obviously failed to recognise what I was when on a bike and pedalling slowly.
