A Swedish commuter

Hi everyone!

I'm a Swedish bike commuter living in Gothenburg. I'm the happy owner of a Crescent pedelec equipped with the Bosch Performance motor. My daily trip to the office and back is 22 km long and it's always a breeze - in spite of the wind that can be quite strong here!

Welcome to the forum. Are pedelecs as common in Sweden as in other parts of the continent?

I don't know how common they are in the continent, but here they've become really popular: every 4 or 5 bikes in town, one is an e-bike - most of them are from EcoRide, a Swedish company that produces e-bikes with the classic Bafang kit, but you can see fancier models from time to time. The cutest (and rarest) are those sold by Ikea last year as prototypes - at 450£ they were very cheap but still well made indeed.

There's also a delivery company in town that uses Urban Arrows to dart through the centre. That thing is on my wish list.

I like the Urban Arrow, I bet the designer had a Meccano Set when younger.
