Yes, they've been very determinedly developing these for some while now. Compressing air to extreme pressures is a very inefficient process though, consuming so much energy I can't see a long term future for this technology.

Their electricity free nature makes them ideal for internal use in some dangerous environments though, like oil refineries, chemical plants, explosives works etc.

How about a foot pump ?

You would need a good frame though. Imagine if it blew whilst sat on it.

LOL. Could become an ejector seat.

4 bar is less than 60PSI & 110 PSI is only 7.5 bar just to give it some perspective.
