I'm hoping that someone will know where I can get my aurora alien bike mended, I think the electrics have gone on it, but not sure. I live in Wakefield, if anyone knows anyone that is specialist in mending e-bikes near to me please let me know, thanks, Andy.

Why don't you fix it yourself? What's wrong with it?

The cycle just stopped working as I was going up a hill, I am not capable of fixing it hence the post to ask if anyone knew anyone in my neck of the woods that could

I can't help with a recommendation for anywhere round your parts unfortunately, but if you wind up stumped, you could have a go at posting some more details up here w/photos if needs be and see if you can fix yourself.

There's also a company which will courier your bike up to them for £22.99 on an overnight as long as you box it up and get it somewhere someone can be around for the courier to collect from. Can send you a link if you need it.

There's too many possibilities to start trying random things. If it stopped suddenly, it'll be something simple and easy to fix, but you need a voltmeter to chech where the problem is. If you want to have a go at fixing it yourself, get a cheap multi-meter from Maplin or any DIY shop and then we can walk you through how to find the fault and fix it. Then you'll learn something, which will put you in a stronger position should you get any problems in the future. You'll also probably need a set of screw-drivers.

In the meantime, if you could answer this simple question, which might help solve it: Do you have battery level indicator lights on your throttle, and did they go out when it stopped working?
