Riding in the dark

You do have to be a bit careful when cycling at night as the rabbits can run into your front wheel. This happened to a friend of mine on his mountain bike - he went over the bars and landed on his head (wearing a helmet of course) but broke a bone in his neck and ended up with a metal plate and many weeks off work - ouch. Apparently the animals like the lights!
I go slow when I'm off-road just in case.
