Hello all, I have for sale a Bewo 350W 48V mid drive for sale.
It has done somewhere between 300 and 700 miles - I wish I had checked before disconnecting, either way not very much,I think nearer the 300.
Apart from the whole kit I made a point of purchasing a spare

a) Controller
b)LCD Display
c)Waterproof Main CableBewo 48V 350W.jpg
All unused

The last kit I noticed on ebay was £355 obviously without the extras.

Must be worth £250 at least!

Bewo I believe is meant to be a bit like an 8fun crank drive with the controller outwith the motor which I think is good, especially if you have a spare.Much easier for repair if required. It also has metal planetary gears as opposed to plastic I am informed and according to a Greek chap elsewhere on the forum they are the bees knees!

They have been around for a while (since 2013?) but are not mainstream, Woosh used them at one time IIRC. I also like the external controller and it will run at either 36V or 48V and it has a 48 tooth chainring.

Good you brought that up,I went for the 44T chain ring ,plenty fast and better for hills.

Didn't Woosh use the TCM cd is this the same unit ?
How about bb fitting does it fit a std 68mm shell or even a 73mm.
Is it a stand alone 48v unit or is it dual 36/48v as I have seen it talked about as both.

Yes it is the same. From memory (a year ago?) reading the posts on ES by a Greek engineer who mounted one I think he had to file the inside of his BB a little. Runs at either 36 or 48 V, the controller is the only change.

Edit: Tianjin Bewo Technology Co I think it was abbreviated to Tianjin Company Motor

It's a standard 68mm bottom bracket, certainly no filing required by me and I only ever ran it at 48V.

This one has been designed for 48V. I believe some designed for 36volt are sometimes used by individuals at higher voltages.

According to the General Manager at Bewo they make a 36v 250w. 36volt 350 watt and a 48V 350W all with different controllers.
