I have the above bike, which has triple chainset, a truvativ stylo GXP bottom bracket and its a 9 speed.

I am struggling with mountain biking so want to convert it with a kit from Whoosh or Juicy.

However, I really want to retain the ability to do proper mtbing and am curious to know whether I should I do a rear hub conversion (which may ruin the handling I think) or a crank motor (which may limit my off-roading as it may take away some clearance).

My other reason for having a crank motor is so that its easier to change tires etc rather than the issues with a rear hub motor.

What do people advice?

thanks
