Buyer be aware

This morning I asked a ebay retailer what was the warranty on a electric bike he was retailing. Repy was ebays 14 days. So if buying from ebay seller ask the question before departing with money.

Agree that would be 14 day money back but when pressed on warranty got no reply. Also ask if spares where available again no reply.

TBH that is what I would expect from the majority of ebay resellers of ebikes and many other products. Most have little or no knowledge of what they are selling and want no comeback. When it comes to warranty, think of it as a giant car boot sale. If you want a cheap bike buy a kit from a trusted source who will stand by any warranty they offer. You can put a nice bike together for around £700 or less.

FYI, PayPal gives 180 days buyer protection against faulty goods. The buyer is responsible for returning the goods to the seller.
