Carrera Crossfire Stops Pedal Assist At 16mph

Hi all,

Not posted for a while. Just been out on the Crossfire for the first ride since September. I'm convinced the Pedal assist used to cut out at 18mph, today it was cutting out at around 16mph. Am I mistaken at thinking it was 18 mph.

Legally it should cut out at 15.5 m.p.h. so if it previously at 18 then it was, theoretically, illegal. I suspect that either you have mis-remembered - or your previous speed measurements were inaccurate for some reason

Probably was 16 mph all along. I think it may be that fact I haven't used it for sometime, it was windy, my legs were heavy and I'm thinking come on bike give me some help ffs lol.
