Hi all I recently repaired my own electric bike, which had developed a fault. I got useful advice from people on this forum. Filled with false confidence I am considering buying an almost-new Carrera E-Spec which is going cheap because it has a similar fault in that the motor won't run. Obviously it's a very different bike and the root cause could be too. I'm handy with mechanics and electrics, having restored three old motor bikes in the past. Would your advice be to get it, or are they notoriously hard to repair?
