Are there any on the market to convert a " normal " bike to a wanna be Kalkhoff?

Yes, the Sunstar unit which contains it's own bottom bracket adapter. The SO1 is a bit on the weak side though. There has been an SO2 unit introduced but the French agent doesn't mention that.

It has been reviewed in both A to B magazine and Velovision Magazine, but by the same person in both.

I've tried to get a Sunstar S02 kit and emailed the French site that used to sell the S01 and they said that it's not available in Europe due to it not meeting the legal specs due to motor power (or something like that).

Shame really as it looked good. Maybe it's available from Japan or US so I'll keep looking.

I believe the Sunstar isnt very powerful,Ive read there's another 250W kit which should be available soon-ish.I'll try to find the details.
