Custom e-Cruiser Bike Build

Finding my (electric) wheels
I bought a Wisper905SE back in 2009 but after many happy years it was starting to show it's age. To revive it I decided to strip it down completly, respray and rebuild with custom components. I ride it both in pedal assist and as a normal bike. Anyway I've been lurking on this forum since I bought the bike so thought I'd share!

Anyone else ditch the battery sometimes and use a different fuel?

Custom forks and bars by Ruff Cycles in Germany.

Powered by JD. :) Got new pedals coming soon.

Custom valve caps and Continental Gravity 2.3inch fat tyres

Crank Brothers Stem.

Still a little work to do but so far I'm pleased with the results.
Cheers,
Phil

Here's a couple of pics of it as a Pedelec (rather than Just a heavy bike) ;)

First ride across the River Ribble.

With the battery fitted.

I kept all the original Wisper controls and wiring. :)

Thanks for the likes! I'm going to build a couple more custom pedelecs by the end of the year so will post pics of those too. Next one will be a Schwinn style cruiser but I'm also going to build an adult sized e-chopper.
