Looking on Alibaba I see topbike kit selling both AKM and TBK 74mm 328rpm motors.
I would be keen to know if these are identical or if the more expensive AKM is in some way better. I notice a photo of the TBK motor shows 8.2 reduction ratio, whilst the AKM specification suggests 12.6 ratio? Both are 328rpm 36v. How do these motors compare with the Cute Q70 ?
I'm a reasonably strong 84kg 64year old. Would my Brompton equiped with one or other of these motors provide better hill assist than my Volt Pulse 26" . I ask this as I have heard that the small 16" motor wheels give very good performance on hills. I'm looking for good hill assistance as I need no help on the flat terrain.
