Cycle maintenance courses

I have made my maiden trip on my Aggatu this evening and thoroughly enjoyed the fact that I could go up a nearby hill and am gaining confidence, having not ridden a bike for a while.

One thing that is worrying me is the fact that I do not know how to deal with a puncture - I was never taught - so my plea is to anyone who lives in the Bedfordshire area who would be willing to help me out with a tutorial. Alternatively, does anyone know if there are courses that would help? I have had the tyres 'slimed' before delivery so hopefully this will offer some protection.

Any help would be gratefully received...

Then you'll need a new inner tube in case of a puncture, because when the slime is on the outside of the tube, you'll have a hard time fitting a patch.

I've got all the stuff - including a spare inner tube but no idea on what to do with it - my knowledge is that basic!

But don't leave the nut on the valve stem on when you put the inner tube back.

Were there more blunders in that video?
