DaaHub and DaaHub Extreem, what are they? Direct drive or geared? Freewheel? Brushless? With or without sensor?

HI David

Is it this summer or next the DaaHub Extreem is available in the UK?

What sort of price range are you thinking?

Cheers

Pending David seeing this Lee, he posted an intended price of £1050 for the DaaHub kit on 20th March.

One member has fitted a kit recently so it's already available.

Thanks mate, i've seen that thread.
What i'm interested in though is the Extreem version.
I think it's out in 2012 which is a shame as i can't wait that long.

I have the Daahub..It is the fastest e bike I have ever ridden, 22mph unrestricted. If your younger, lighter and fitter probably more than that (I'm 16 stone and unfit)..... How fast do you want/need to go!

the extreme is for off road/hill climbing I believe, and range would be severly affected I would guess with present battery....

Hi Lee

The extreem will be ready in 2012 as you quite correctly say. However it will not be legal for use on the roads in Europe, it is for off road sport only. We are preparing a document that will need to be signed by anyone purchasing the kit to agree that they understand it is not legal on the road and indemnifying Wisper ltd from any liability due to miss-use. It will be capable of 45kph.

I will be getting the first trial models in in August.

Best regards

David

All the best
